This has been a very good year for us.
I'm sure others can say the same.
If by some chance we could help others anomonusly (sp?)I'd like to help out with some extra gear, buying the gas or just by listening.
Not sure how to help but am willing to learn.
Thank you.

Carbon Cure.  :smt111

Mike, that is a nice bow. I have a Diamond Outlaw and my son has the Infinite edge. I am sure you are going to love that bow! We are totally rooks, but if you ever want to to up to EDH Bowmans and fire some arrows downrange, would love to join you. Of course, I am NOT the guy that can hit 70yards in the center  :smt044

had an epiphany this year.  Usually i'm like WTF we gotta buy each other presents, like what are we 12 and chit?  We each buy ourselves whatever we want, whenever we want anyway, so it is definitely not a question of needing anything.  To the contrary, we have to much chit!

But it dawned on me that if we was still dating (as opposed to being ball and chained) i'd get my culo handed to me if I did not ante up with a present on xmas.  this would be the case for any chica being courted - it would be unacceptable to any GF not to receive a present on xmas.

Just like I expect her to keep a figure and put my 'doo rag on at night, i bess be buying an xmas present every year.  just something that must be done.  Call it WAF or whatever.  So this year, she got a European-style cruiser bike with an internal 3 speed rear hub (among other things) and I got a GoPro Hero 4 (among other things).

Now contrast this with BS novelties that are exchanged between me and the inlaws - THAT i can do without.  Last year "Santa" gave me a pair of yellow steel toed boots, like I'm gonna be wearing those to court or something, setting off metal detectors?!  I can be a real bastard and don't even feign courtesy interest no more, straight up give em the eli manning face

hope santa got everyone what they wanted, and then some

Anonymously,  yes!
It has been a very good year for me as well.  Not so much for a neighbor who lives across the street.  He's in his 70's and his precious wife has advanced stage Alzheimer.  His day is spent dressing her, feeding her, getting her to an adult day care, etc.  All the while she is either unresponsive or outright combative.  She's knocked him down a couple times and he's worried he might not be able to get up some time.
I've taken it upon myself to be their 'Santa Elf' this year and do his yard work while he's gone taking her to daycare and running his errands.  Stuff like the leaf blowing, pulling weeds, pruning, etc.  I talk to him when I see him out walking his little dog and get updates about him and his wife.  He has finally come to the realization that he has to put her in a full time care home and will be doing it right after the new year.  He also has mentioned several times how his yard is being cared for and can't figure out who could be doing it.  I pretend I haven't a clue but will watch out and see but of course, I never reveal who it is.

Jerry, that is the coolest story.  You a good dude.  Hopefully you don't alarm the guy and get a couple rounds of buckshots at ya.  I rely on that concern to not do good unannounced deeds for my neighbors  :smt006
