I hope Pirate Steve, the artist formerly known as Chef Stefano, will come along to post his own story. In the meantime, I've got a photo to share.



Beautiful day, sunny skies, shirt-sleeve weather, and plenty fishy. My own score was 'lots' of spotted bay bass (18-20) - remember them Molbasser? - and one yellowfin croaker. All fish C&R on 3" grubs.

I'm still all fired up over Steve's first bonefish. Simply awesome. Way to go, brother!

That is a good sized SD bay bonefish.

And yes, I remember spotties.... *sigh*  I miss the two bays down south.......

Good on Chef for getting out there.

thanks guys! been trying all day to post  site been down. it was great to get out on the yak and to catch a bone fish on 4lb test .........give me more! ....give me more :smt003 i also caught a 20 inch halibut on the same rod. then came a bunch of spotties :smt003 a great day fish with Paul! can't wait to hit again.
