AOTY and DOTY home stretch!

Less than a month to go!!!

On the AOTY side things seem to be holding steady with no recent changes in the top 5, but wondering if Rob is gonna make a run to try and knock insearchoffish out of first place??

On the DOTY side, IceColdChuck is still in first place but last night Nelson Kwok entered a massive 30 inch Monkey and 25 inch Cabbie to pass Sean_Otter and move into Second and is now only 16 points behind Charlie!!

Also, my verm upgrade moved me from 7th to 5th passing Adam415 and LiveAlohaKris.

BUT, I know Kris and Adam will be charging to try and pass me again (Kris is diving with Charlie tomorrow and Adam knows how to find big sheep), and I am diving with StinkyPete tomorrow (will be my last dive of the year though  ) so definitely possibilities for change between now and 12/31!!!

I can't get to Monterey this year and started DOTY in October so you guys don't have to worry about me bumping you out of your spots.   Many species I will not be getting before the end.  I do need to grab a couple more species up in Mendo for more raffle chances.

But next year it is on.  I plan on being in the top ten at a minimum. 

And for those top guys even if your not number one I am impressed with your skills and determination. It is what motivated me to try harder this year.

I have exactly two more days I can fish this year. My late run is all but done. Life and responsibility got in the way at the end of this year again.  I'm out for next year too. Some year I  will get it done.

A hundred points is huge in December. I lost by 5 once. A measly inch of one fish. Haha. Ouchie.

I am not giving up, but looking at reality. 100 pts is gigantic. I have only fished about 10-12 times in the last few months. Just can't get out. I'm only 1 top of the slot Sturgeon, 1 AOTY record catfish, and a small 4" trout upgrade away. I can do that in two days.

I have your DOTY award and your Ling/Monkey piece in my office, and often times the best part of my day at work is looking at them.   

Dove yesterday with StinkyPete and damanij (and saw Sean_Otter and MooMaid at beach!) and got a nice 12 point Ling upgrade but nowhere near enough to catch Pete.
