I nearly floated my Camry this morning, does that count?  NO

and I spent the afternoon watching cars turn around in the business park at the new lake, except a few brave souls who drove through the 2 feet of water very slowly

I was talking to someone from NCKA today and telling him that the streets were flooded so I might have to tow my truck home in my kayak! It was intense for a bit there.
Thresher in avatar and Soupfin Shark in signature both caught and pic taken by me.

I kayaked on a flooded island today. I now have my seasonal pond back so if I feel the need I can drag one out there.

Saw a Mill Valley SUP on the news :smt003

yeah i saw that too.  bunch of north bay road closures and some kid is SUPing the footbal field LOL

who else hates the news stories that say the storm hasn't made a dent in the drought?!  Well of f'ing course one storm won't recover all water woes.  sensationalistic news media - whadda they want a single biblical flood or something sheeeeeet

there's also a righteous video somewhere on this site of otobe paddling and his doggie doing the canine side stroke in and out of a flodded driveway.  really cool hysterics!

Those news stories might sound stupid to the well informed, but they do have their target audiences... The same people who say "global warming" (climate change!!!) isn't  real because they had to put on a sweater today probably think the drought is over because it's pouring outside..

Thought about it, then realized that in my area the gutters are kept clean so no flooding.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!
