how stiff is the jig stick? You wouldn't know the specs do you? I was looking at the 7' 20# live bait rod

Thanks for  the heads up.  I just bought the #20, 8' jigging stick, and a folding net for 97.68 shipped.  What a deal...  Hind sight, I should bought the folding Palmar crab trap too...   

Dune, I don't know the specs on the 8' other than it's rated at 20lbs, so 15-25lb line I suppose (and I'd guess 2-5ozs?). I wanted a longer rod for chucking iron and possibly using on a boat. And I love Seeker rods.

Did anybody actually receive a Seeker rod?
I placed my order & received confirmation email on 12/1 (ordered a Seeker rod and Okuma Epixor spinning reel). Then another email on 12/5 stating my order was "on its way." Yesterday I received part of my order...the Okuma reel. Today I received an email stating that my order was "cancelled" and they would refund the amount back to my credit card...but the order info only listed the Okuma reel and not the Seeker rod. So I checked my credit card balance and they DID refund the entire amount...so I guess they aren't sending me the Seeker rod I ordered. But I have the Okuma reel in my possession. I'll give it a few days to sort itself out. Maybe they screwed up and gave me a reel for free? Although, I really really wanted that rod!

Damn, that sounds weird.  Hope it works out.  They delivered mine on Monday. 

So they refunded your entire order amount? Sounds like you just came up on a free reel.

I got the Seeker rod but didn't realize it has no reel seat. I was gonna use it w/ Avet SXJ or Revo Toro NaCl so might not work for me... I got the 8" 20lb jigging rod. Do you want it, Pat?

No SXJ didn't come w/ clamp...

Plenty of options for "deckhand" rods. You can even add a trigger if you want.
