Just at Jim's shop a few days ago.  Definitely anticipation in the air down there.  Safe travels Jim!  Looks like the cable I picked up will work out well.

Heads up Amigos.       I'm headed east in the early morning hours finally!

Going to mold us up some G2's   Making a stop in Corpus Christi along the way for some Gulf Coast fishing if the weather Gods are merciful.      Should be back with a load in about two weeks...

Thanks for everyone's patience !    See y'all on the flip side.    :smt006

This photo showing some of the steering control parts.  PPickeral hooked me up with a great machinist that completed this part of the project.

Made in America by Americans!

When is the expected release date?  This would be a perfect 2nd addition to compliment my hobie outfitter! Any idea of MSRP including mirage drive pod and rudder?

I'm currently sitting in this incredible Amish hotel.  The Leola Village Inn.  Spent a good 12 hour day tweeking the mold.  The first part we ran came out great, except for the two rear scuppers are not closing off.  Trying a "trick" to remedy the situation... gotta wait until tomorrow to run a third kayak from it...    Surprisingly , the components all fit together perfectly.. Tracks, pods, etc...  Huge relief, because I gotta confess, I did have a few doubts.  Those sort of things don't usually come out right the first time like that..
Sweet Water IPA in hand, celebrating the " birth " of my baby...  Ahhhh Life is good !
Cheers y'all,   I'll update tomorrow's results.  Fingers crossed.

Great news!  Glad to hear the hard work is coming to fruition.  I got to take my 'project' off the test stand this past weekend & take it for its first test spin.  I KNOW now you are feeling ... though you have a few more hours invested in your baby so far.  I don't think I'll match your hour count one-for-one.  :smt002 :smt003
