2015 LRC- It's a wrap!

How late will check in be open? I'm driving up that morning and it's a 2hr haul. Can I check in around 6-630 and skip the 0600 start time?

You might have to go find Mike to check-in before your launch.

Check-in will be from 5am to about 7:30am. After that you will have to find me or Bill... use your VHF radio ch69  .

It's been 10+ the past few days.

AS long as the "intervals" are greater (approx. 2x the height) we should be okay; just will have rollers and maybe a few garage sales....

My app is saying 9-10' at 15 seconds. It's been changing daily.
Last week said 20-30mph winds. Today says 10. We'll  just have to see.

Let's say this again ...  Know you limits, follow your instincts, plan for the worse and carry your VHF radio.  Mike & I will each have one handy to listen in.

I'm going to the feed store in a few hours to buy burlap sacks.
They are the 25# size and I think they are a buck a piece. I will buy extra, so if anyone wants one I'll be in 36.

Also saw the Re-Store in San Carlos had nice quality burlap sacks for $2/each last weekend when I stopped in there.
