Post up if you got your site!

Nice site bro.  Which day will you be there?  I might go a little early and leave later this time.

Thursday - Sunday....

It Depends; you can "Reserve" a Full-Hookup site for 2ppl for $45/night.

or you can pay $25/night for 1 person in the NCKA reserve area; which is FCFS.....

Along the north fence and the northeast corner has been in the past, but there was some confusion in 2014 with their new check-in system.  I don't know how it is going to be handled for 2015.  Eric should probably delegate campground liaison duty and we'll get the campground situation figured out.

I actually just called to get a tent site reserved. They said tent sites willl be a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. The RV sites on the other hand, you will need reservation.

Thats what they said last year too.  Then they took reservations for tent sites and took money for them.  Then they gave away the reserved tent sites.

It's shelter cove.  You have to be ready to roll with the weirdness, and things don't always happen how you would expect or how you were told.

Its just the Cost of doing business in sohum, I'm not trying to discourage anyone, only trying to manage expectations.

I'm gonna be there Thirsday night until Monday morning.  My brother probably will be here Friday night to Saturday night. Hoping the kids come too.

They are offering a NCKA discount, $22 per person per night. Children 6 and under free. They said it was FCFS for tents, but that they have 7 acres so can easily accommodate us.

Spot on.

If you want predictable and accountable then rent a room or a house.

The campground is a big component of GS because many participants stay there and we may have the potluck and Gyotaku there again, but securing your spot there is up to you.

If you want predictable and accountable then rent a room or a house.

Google is your friend for room and house info.

Just call to reserve an "RV" site #; not a "tent" site.

Look on the map, select a site (perferably not 83-103, cause those are the site they use for tents) and call them up and reserve it for 2ppl.

Will be there and hoping to bring family back this time...or at least Valentina!!

Don't stress about tent camping...I've been there five years in a row and it always works out for everyone...just show up and pay and roll on back and pick a spot.  :smt004

IMO Jack has been doing a great job and every year the campground looks better and better.

Looking forward to it!!!

Jim
