I'm a kayak angler from the great Evergreen state. Been kayak fishing for several years but went off the deep-end in 2014 when I decided to pursue a Cascadia Big Fishing Year where I am trying to catch/harvest as many species of fish/shellfish in Oregon and Washington. I'm up to 79 species so far and I've managed to get nearly 50 species from my Hobie Revo. You can check out my webpage at http://www.bigfishingyear.net/

Not planning on anything crazy for 2015 but would like to do a 3-5 day trip to San Francisco Bay to target species not readily available or legal to target in my home waters including: Leopard Shark, Seven-gill Shark, Stripers, and California Halibut. I'll probably spend a while digging thru the archives but might be hitting you up for some additional info as I zero on a time period and locales for these species.

If you ever make it up to the Portland/Vancouver area and want help finding salmon, sturgeon, or any other species let me know.
