I am just wondering if anyone wares wool socks under their wet suit.I have a broad chest with chicken legs so my suit is not the best fit.

Never heard of anyone doing that, but might work?

Maybe some elastic straps/cuffs to keep it tight?

I wear one thin and one thicker layer of synthetic long johns under mine.   I need to put thin socks over the cuffs of the first pair to get the second pair on, then over cuffs of both to get the wetsuit on.   Then I put on thick dive socks and then thick booties (skinny feet).  Keeps me warm.
But it's more stuff to clean up - I just chuck it all in the (front load) washer on gentle cycle and hang it to dry.

Under your wetsuit?  I used neoprene socks for that.  But Wool Socks changed my life in my drysuit!  :smt007  So much more comfy with them on.  :smt002

I just wear booties with my wet suit and my feet are fine. I wear wool socks under my Kokatat Tempest pants or waders and my feet are nice and warn too.

wool socks will get wet and soak up moisture in a wet suit. They make good water socks and neoprene shoes that work really well, and are not too expensive, and last a long time.

I have for years, I wear some older Army Thorlo Green wool blended socks and they do help.

always wear my smart wools under my booties, with my gout, i need to make sure i can keep them as warm as possible, and i find that with wool, they stay toasty all day, but i dont dangle that much, just when going side saddle for gear in the back, cameron
