Stopped by Pacific Outfitters in Ukiah and notice Danielson crab pots for $14.99 on sale.  I don't think they are the best traps out there but these are great for kayaks because they fold up nice and are light weight.  And if lost or damaged they are cheap enough you should not lose sleep over it.

I would have rather been out on the ocean on crab opener but waves and wind are still to high up in Ft Bragg.

Your welcome.  I did not even need any but picked up 2 for back up.

There were also a 100' rope, two bouys, 4 point harness in a kit for $20.  Those will work with any pot and saves a lot of time setting them up.

Accidentally put in wrong category so admin please fix.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Not sure but something bulky like a crab pot would cost more in shipping than it's worth.  Sale is on till the 9th.  Have someone grab some for you if interested and hang on to them until you can meet up.  Personally I would just go to another store and ask to price match.
