what are those folks fishing by the locks catching there? i saw guys casting over a fence fishing the little canal.

It was HOT. Unfortunately the fishing wasn't (on Sunday) ....for me at least I heard Surfing Marmot got there later in the afternoon and nailed 'em.

You bet it was hot. My buddy and I were in shorts and T-shirt in Goretex waders and s-w-e-a-t-i-n-g at 1600! we both could not remember it being this hotthere outside of July or August. Ia mconvinced it stopped the top water jsut like it did at BAM II. Hot weatehr kills Striper Busts I believe--personal conviction wihtout scientific empriical evidence to back me up.
