Ocean won't be FAC and the Forebay is FAC so it is on! Past 2 days wind has been between 0-5 MPH from the north, it doesn't get much better than that.

was thinking of taking my daughter fishing tomorrow. what are our chances of cathcing something from the bank? She hasn't fished there in a while, maybe two years since she was last there.
What bait or lure would you recommend?

thanks

I think they are pretty good fishing from the bank. Lots of stripers running in the shallows and I also saw a ton of bass in there as well. I think bait and a bobber could make for a fun time from the bank.

I'll be there. Off shore winds forecast for Sunday (tomorrow) which usually means calm winds at the Forebay. I am committed to the ocean for the AM, but intend to do a double header and go to the Forebay for the afternoon and evening bite. Long fishing day but I should have a real big smile on my face Sunday night--a grin that might last all week.

Hope to hook up with you folks if you are not all fished out by the time I get there. Unless I decide to cut the ocean short or let it go all together.
