My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I am still under court order to not talk about it......
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

My wife kicks me out to the house and tells me to go fishing.  She also has her own Hobie and will go off exploring on her own on a lake or river while I fish.

Can't really blame your wife Vince after that bill you got from the DF&W

My wife shoves me out too, Buzz.  Once I forgot my wallet and had to return.  She was already dressed and headed out to Starbucks to chat with her friends.  I guess 40 years married and retired for the last two have convinced her that there can be too much Jerry.  Ha!

Usually when I get wound up and stressed out, my wife tells me I need to go fishing.

Today, first time in a long time, surprising the hell out of me, I was bad cause I'm always gone. I better read that book.  :smt011

My wife loves it when I leave the house, so she can get things done without me getting in the way. That's one thing about being retired got to keep busy and going places.

Yeah, I usually get the opposite.......like the swell will be 15 ft and small craft warnings are up, "uh, Dave, why don't you go fishing?"  Hmmmmm.

My wife would think twice about destroying my fishing rods... I once had a dream that my wife Kara, girlfriend at the time was burning my fishing poles. She said she woke to me hoovering above her with my hands on her neck and shaking her yelling "what did you do woman... why are you burning my fishing poles! Tell me!" I guess I was pretty pissed off. She calmed me down and I fell back asleep and I don't remember any of it.

My wife got pissed one day & snapped one of my Carrot Stix rods clean in half.  It was funny!
