Fishing was slow and we "blamed" the full moon for it  :smt003  Caught a few Blacks, Blues, 1 legal Cabie, and a short Ling.  HobieDave got the hot stick of the day with Ling limit, Cabie, and nice Verm.  ScubaLuis only got 1 legal Cabie.  We went North then later South and fought the wind to get back.  Saw some crab buoys tangled up  in the kelp beds so if you lost yours last year at TC, this could be it.

Sonny, Interesting what a few days make.  3 of us fished TC last Friday, 10/3.  In the morning, RF were off the bite and the Lings were easier to catch than the RF.

I caught 8 Lings and only one was a shaker.  I kept 2 Lings at around 28 inches.  At around lunch time the RF bite turned on.

My go to rig was a 2 oz jig head with 5 inch White BH swimbait.  My other buddies did just as good with their own favorite BH colors.

We had a similar experience getting a lot of lings on Saturday and none on Sunday. On Sunday the Verms were biting most.

The RF bite was best at the edge of the kelp.  Not much action in the deep water.

We were with the flat and wide trailer, the flat part opens for storage and the bars in the middle are to carry the 3rd kayak.
