What does it cost to launch there now?  Last I remember you had to mortgage the house to fish there.

And if you want killer mexican food, stop by Tijuana Taqueria on Broadway in Placerville.  Best carnitas anywhere.

Anyone know what area is the best to camp at? Plan on heading up in the morning and fish all weekend. Any intel on best methods on this lake?

Had fun out there. Can't wait to go back.

It was an awesome day on the lake but spent more swimming and paddling around then fishing. Logan managed to catch one nice smallmouth. The only thing I got out of the day was some great memories spending the day with my boys on the water.  Just a fun day for sure!

I was able to get a couple macks and 1 largemouth. It was great when the wind kept us drifting, but once it stopped blowing, the fish stopped biting.

What did you use to catch the macks?

Pink/silver jigs in deep water.
