It was a great way to spend my birthday. Didn't catch anything, but you can't go wrong getting otw. My son was excited to see the large fish jumping. I never did see one. Did anyone else see them?  We are curious if it was salmon or what. Thanks everyone for helping clean up.

Well, happy birthday!! I missed that announcement. I saw a few nice sturgeon jump and one huge one. They are definitely in that area. I did see some other boils at the surface, but couldn't tell what they were.
It was a great time meeting people and fishing with you guys. Hope to do more fishing in the future.

Happy Birthday, Trildad  I seen a few fish jump believe they were strippers. The place looked a lot better after we got most of the trash picked up. I hate people that mess a place up. If you being it then take back home. It was a good day for me, but a little windy. Nice meeting more NCKAer's.

Cleaned up.
Nice day for what it was. A little bit of rain, sunshine, and of course wind but the crew that was there did an awesome job of making it a cleaner place for sure.  :headbang:
Adam making his clean up rounds and getting some bank fisherman to help in the clean up ops. That was cool of them to help out when others gave him the  f#@$ off look.  :smt005
Here is what my kids and I collected for the short time we were there.
Thanks,

Tim

There are some kids in the Sacramento area who observed the men, women, and kids of NCKA doing the normal and nessisary work of taking care of our planet. The sport we love can generate some trash and mindfullness is relative, at the very least there are a couple of old geezers who will see Adams face when the let their broken polystyrene cooler blow into the slough. Too bad the pot luck was cancelled by winds ,but fortunately the food we enjoyed at Davis Noodle City was excellent.

& thank you for organizing, Adam & Headwaters!
Wish I made it out but have to work...
Next time when I go there, I will pick up some trash.

Thanks for the B-Day wishes. That's an impressive pile of trash, especially for the small crew we had. Did we declare a winner for the most trash collected? I say, everyone is a winner that volunteers to help. Way to go! :smt006

TW and crew were crowned cleanup champions and received a well deserved prize from headwaters. Thanks Dan. A tip of my hat to Traildad for spending his birthday with the gang giving back to fellow sport people and the environment, hope you had a nice time. A few pictures follow..as usual most were taken early as I become more focused on fishing I peter out on taking pictures  :smt003
