Just bought couple Danielson crab pots for the up coming Dungeness opener. I need guidance on a few issues:

1) Is it legal to drop crab pots now? What can I keep, Pacific rock crabs? I know Dungeness is legal in Nov.

2) I heard a decent spot for crabbing is south of Mile buoy. Is that true? any other areas?

1- Yes. You can keep rock crabs 35/day.
2- Go find somewhere rocky, and drop it. Wait and reward.
