My name is JJ and I'm from Sacramento, CA. Just got into kayak fishing and caught my first bass on the delta. I'm looking forward to learning from you guys and seeing pictures from your trips. I'll be asking you guys a lot of questions and picking your brain. Haha

Thanks guys! I fished with some friends at kings island. Had a really difficult time paddling since it was so windy this past Sunday but some of them didn't have a problem since they have hobie kayaks with the foot pedals. I'll definitely keep my eye out for local hook ups in the area.

I'm at the Consumnes Preserve most weekends if you ever want tj meet up there.

I've been at the Consumnes preserve T sunrise and the is not open. Waiting about a half hour before leaving. What do you know about the promptness of the gate opening?  Thanks.
