Cape mendocino

  fish the Cape last week after Trinadad Rock Wars with a few NCKA bros.
I'll keep it short and let vid speak for it self ...

 

We are going to do it again Monday.   Bigger and better.  If the forecast holds it should be good for hunting for a Cape barn door.  I need to start studying the Navionics maps and seafloor for the ideal area for a big halibut.

That one got me laughing, too! It happens a lot - that and they crap on you.

That ling did lose it's lunch all over my lap, it was nasty and smelly plus on my brand new dry suit too,   I guess it's  pissoff cause I give him the gaff !!
