Spent the morning with Trianglelaguna floating around way offshore with some whales and landing some nice fish.  I never got a ling but Craig pulled a fatty out of the water!   Here's some pics from this morning!  Had a blast!!

that was the closest Ive been to a full size humpback- had baby gray go right behind me but that time I knew it was around...that big humpback came up right next to you--RIGHT next to you and before that we had only seen them all around but 100 yards off....really was out of the water too...SO big and yet very gentle and did not seem to be trying to tip you...hard to get picture ,as they were there and then down again so many times
here is what I was able to get get...that was a hog of ling btw but with my big ass holding it it looks like a 22" 3 lber :smt003 it was all head and fins and just shy of 32" with big thick fillets

glassy conditions...our new member/buddy Josh who just moved to cali last year got his first and second ever kayak lings.....see you Saturday

the whales though were the big show for me....hard to see in the picture but that whale is super close to me and was HUGE

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”
