I have owned 3 outback and just made the upgrade to a 2014 14' PA... Been banking it salmon fishing so Iwas able to get some time away from the fish and drop the PA in the water.

I went with the 2014 over the 2015 due to the longer boards for mounting a track system to and I didn't like the new extended rails. Plus I got $400 discount.

On the water this thing is a yacht, breaks through chop fairly well, tracks great, and I'm able to gain more forward momentum against the current and wind than my outback.

The seat is very comfy! Multiple adjustments to relieve pressure points. And plenty of room to stash anything I need at arms reach!

The only downfall is can't launch it in some of the treks I used to haul my out back in. I have to scout out a better launch site as this think is pretty heavy. Once I'm on the water I don't care as this yak/boat kicks ass!

A good reason to have two kayaks. Add a Sport for those places you need to hike down to for fishing.

It would be sweet if you could buy a boat from Hobie without the $600 Mirage drive and be able to instead use the one from your first boat.
