Wow that's a big difference. Don't know if the improvements are going to justify weight increase and price?I can barley car top my 2013 ai myself. There is no way I can press 104 lb.lol

For the fitted hull, that works out to about a 21% increase in weight for about 3.6% increase in length. I car-top my 2013 Adventure (no Island) without too much trouble, but the 2015 model is more weight than I'd want to deal with. It seems like a trailer would practically be a must have, at least for me.
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

I never press my AI when car topping, so not a problem (bow up first, then slide 'er up).  And i'm getting light and using the trailer more and more

Seems that we'll get a drier ride, better seating, more floaty bow, better light wind performance, more stability...seems all good things for a bit more weight and cost.

I wouldn't attempt to car top the new 2015.  Eventually, I'd probably drop it, smash my SUV or hurt myself. LOL  :smt002  I am pretty use to car topping my 2012 AI.
