isnt anybody up there targeting the salmon off Pescadero? the fleet is getting limits everyday... and driving me nuts. ive considered driving up there & launching around pigeon pt. lokks like it would be a bit of a paddle but on the right day with minimal winds, im sure a kayaker could get limits.

a bit of a paddle?  I keep seeing numbers that are like nine miles out.  Too far for me.  There have been reports of bait and whales in linda mar cove- so that might mean that we have salmon in there as well

The launch there is pretty good on most days..
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.

Hmmm.... it might be time to try Linda Mar.  We know the stripers are there, but there's also a chance for early salmon and halibut.  You can even soak a crab pot while you're fishing the cove.
If you're lucky you could come home with a nice smorgasborg :smt003

Anyone want to give a poor slob a lift?  (OMG, I just realized I AM a poor slob  :smt013 )  The report today was that fish are not where they were over the weekend.  We can hope they are moving in closer.

Hey Cpkayak- Which boat are you going on. I always compare Huck Fin and Queen Of Hearts. Bob on QoH(recently seperated from H.F) has been getting limits a lot more than Huck Fin Fleet. www.fishingboat.com I am dying to get on his boat right now! -Lee

After replacing the driveshaft U-joints and a destroyed front wheel bearing my truck is back on the road.  How many are planning on Linda Mar Saturday?

Nothing I'd like more than to see y'all at Linda Mar this weekend! Just for the record, though, I've not seen any signs of bait (birds), including when I was underwater last Wed. But that was last Wed...  Us spearos have been giving the lings something to think about, but today my buddy saw none. The water is COLD! Hmmmm...
