Fishfinders?

Any suggestions as to what is a good fishfinder? I am looking at the Hummingbird 565, but I have never used or owned one. 

I had a H'bird 535..2 of them actually...and they both got wet and both crapped out. I took them apart and dried them thoroughly. One never recovered and the other worked intermittenly. When I needed it the least it worked like a champ. When I needed it the most it didn't work.
I replaced it with an Eagle Fisheasy 245DS. Low end on cost ( $90.50 brand new delivered off of eBay ) and I am very happy with it's performance thus far.
Easy to use. One plug for the power and transducer instead of 2 like the H'bird and the plug is waterproof as well.

Great I will look at those tonight!! You would think that they would make these things all waterproof since they are used on the water??

Don't forget the dielectric grease... a must.  Slather it on all electrical connections to prevent corrosion.  Works like a charm and will definitely save your electronics.
