If I am not mistaken, The courts have ruled that a person has no reasonable expectation of privacy from being photographed or filmed when they are out in the open, in public.

They are full of it on more counts than one

Did you reply to her with all the back-and-forth? I bet she pee'd in her pants.

Of course, I left everything attached that they sent me.  Just so they knew I had it HARD from them.  Since the reply only went to Stephenie, I also sent a copy to Michelle.  (her address was still on one of the messages)  Just in case she wanted to pee herself too.  SnOrK!!  HaW!!

I probably will burn in hell for enjoying this too much, but I'll have y'all to keep me company.    :smt006

If schadenfreude is a damnable offense I'm in serious trouble.

I think for now, I'll just wait and see what their next move is.  I'm not even sure I'll be able to get photos from the woman I met taking them.  She gave me her contact info, but she didn't seem too thrilled about getting involved.  I didn't want to press her at the time and scare her off.

How messed up! What fucked up people! Taking pictures or video in public is completely legal especially when filming a crime. I say post it anonymously or have a buddy do it.

Well at least I hope you have scared them off from doing it again. If not I'll bring my fishing pole down and catch him

I've been going to High Hill for over 40 years.  I remember the old days when they gave helicopter rides for $5 per person.  They would take you straight up, one circle, then back down.  I remember the underground mushroom cave under the pie house.  (That big divot between the pond and the pie house was the entrance.)  My kids and now my grand kids have had pony rides there.  (Probably the same ponies!)  My wife and I stopped by there after our wedding on the way to our honeymoon.  I won't let the actions of these two fish shack workers stop me from enjoying myself.  I probably will have some 'fun' and stop by the shack to ask if this is the place I can fish for Canadian geese.  Ha!  I'll tell 'em I read about it on the internet.  I bet if a few of you guys did that too, that would really freak them out.  Nothing hostile, just letting them know the word is out and folks are keeping an eye open.
I wouldn't want anyone else's memories tarnished either; past or future, because of what took place.  They will learn a lesson to not do that in site of the public at least.

Good for you, Jerry ! Admittedly, there have been times that I've witnessed things that didn't look ok and I just sat there enraged but didn't act. Kudos for getting involved !

Gotta love dealing with people who spout off about "laws" of which they have no understanding or knowledge. As far as taking photos at a business like that is concerned, unless they have a sign posted thats states "no photography" or have asked you to stop taking photos, you are allowed to take photographs. And theres also no telling you that you can't take photos after the fact either. Its pretty cut and dry and there are very limitted exceptioms to these rules. I'm certainly sure that they didn't harass or object to the previous thousands of camera-toting patrons who have taken photos on their property. Must be a selective rule that they only enforce when they commit a crime in plain view.

Cant wait to read their reply and the "explanation" that they're "writing." Or should I say, "story" that they're "concocting."

Can we all post we read about this on their face book page. That would really shake them up. And I'm sure they would never do that again.
