Kayaker near Lake Natoma

Hi everyone, great site.  Getting a used Craigslist fishing kayak soon.  Have been kayaking with my kids for the last couple years in a horrible tandem sit inside kayak and keep going crazy seeing all the smallmouth swimming around.  If anyone makes regular trips to Natoma and wants company I am down.

I have just recently started fishing Natoma. Have yet to get much time fishing, but am working on learning the lake. Hoping to catch my first Nor Cal trout, and plan to be on the lake this coming weekend. Any tips?

I do have a couple big rods that I've been using for big river cats, but need to find the fish and what they like to hit on in Natoma first.
