Anyone use this combination? It looks like a real practical way to go. I am thinking of mounting it on my Tarpon 140.

That is a nice setup because you can move it from boat to boat.  I have the Ram transducer arm but not the Cell Blok yet.

I prefer not to have my transducer dragging beside me in the water. It makes a ton of noise and is annoying. I prefer the in hull noodle/water bath. My transducer has an external temp cable I ran into a scupper hole to get accurate temp.

That much drag from a little old transducer and arm?
Maybe...specially with a long paddle.

I like the flexibility of it.
Has anyone actually used this combo?

not really the drag, but it is just annoying when it makes the whooshing sound all day.

My ears ring from running power tools for 40 years. Carpenter/building contractor. Sound wont be my problem.... Drag will be
