I'm Dean.  I'm in the grey kayak and my friend, Raul, is in the yellow one.

First time out of half moon bay and it was flat like glass.  We started salmon fishing and got a hook up but it popped off.  So we went rock fishing.

We caught a couple of black rock cod and then I got a hit and it was something big...a link cod...a hitchhiker but it popped off at the boat. But there is good news.  We limited on rock fish!

Welcome to NCKA, Dean.  I see immersion gear, VHF I think, PFD use, hats...  Way to be on the details, and nice job on the rockfish.   :smt001

Hello Dean,

I didn't think you would ever buy a kayak and to think both you and Raul bought a kayak is crazy. And you told me I was crazy for buying a kayak! Look who's crazy now. :smt044 Are the boats listed on Craigslist yet? So no more plans to buy the 35+ footer?

I bet you will be on the water with the kayak more then me in the next week months.

Too many hobbies and not enough time but we will definitely hook up a few times.
