Yes he is a very lucky dude . He was there by him self and nobody is around him . And is a good thing that we decided to go rock fishing after long day of salmon chasing . We decided to paddled up north and that's where we saw him splashing around like a big fish near the break water . O yeah by the way as soon as he got up on my amas you can smell alcohol coming out of his system .. Lucky dude ...

Quote from: Tony
sorry Antonio had to tell ncka about this.

That's actually a great example of the difference between a newb, falling off without the proper gear or even the ability to get back on unassisted, and a full NCKA Brother, well practiced and ready to show that he can not only get back on his yak quickly but that he was dressed to take that and continue on.  Well done, Antonio!

Well done, Mel and bros - you guys did this guy a service, and you did all of us a service who believe that being in this club means that you are part of a commitment to accountability.  Damn straight, we are sharp right now - let's keep it that way!   :smt001

Heard the tagalog chatter on the radio, but didn't know where you guys were at... so that's where it happened.  Great job with the rescue and salmon.

I did the same thing after a long day trolling for salmon, went to king's rock area in hopes to shake off the skunk...

Nice going mel, bob , and don!

Same thing happened to cabeza de Martino (antonio) today. He got off balance when he was grabbing his ling from the water but he basically got back on his kayak in 2 seconds and fished all day after that. I bet no one saw that because he got on his kayak like nothing  :smt044. Antonio even called it saying something about it earlier before we started fishing :smt044 sorry Antonio had to tell ncka about this.

No problem bro I would have mentioned it anyway. Im not embarrassed at all its part of the experience sometimes. Made a knucklehead move and went in but was back in my yak in 5 seconds...8 tops. Im actually comfortable in the water and re-entery is very easy for me since I dive. Retrieved all my gear too  :smt003

That's actually a great example of the difference between a newb, falling off without the proper gear or even the ability to get back on unassisted, and a full NCKA Brother, well practiced and ready to show that he can not only get back on his yak quickly but that he was dressed to take that and continue on.  Well done, Antonio!

Safety First.....took a safety class a couple of years ago out of MBK that made a world of difference. Got informed from reading articles from this site and member like you. Got 27 pool noodles in my hull   :smt002
Was wearing 6.5 mil farmer johns and life vest when I went in.....water felt good  :smt003
It happened early in the day and I continued fishing with no discomfort for another 4 hours.

Great job on saving that guy. I actually passed him when he was paddling out and I was heading in right outside the jaws. He asked me is that where the fish are pointing in the direction of the buoys. I said yes and that was pretty much it. He was paddling out solo and I believe he had a heavy accent.

Nice work fellas!  Glad you held fast n told him to call it a day.

This will sound unsympathetic but what a worthless piece of dung that guy is.

Hopefully the fact that there was three of you impressed that POS the importance of team work and backup.
