My wife didn't feel comfortable enough experience wise to go out so we kept in touch by VHF.  So awesome, light breeze with a little chop, Air was 85 degrees, no moon, launched by headlamp then continued by starlight.  Milkyway was freaking awesome and then it got upstaged by a fireball streaking across the sky.   I happened across one other guy fishing in a dingy.  I think we were the only two on the water.

Going to go do it again tomorrow night :smt003
