My name is Dee, I'm from Pinole. I fish and crab every time I get a chance, locally as well as a few spots overseas. I've always seen kayak fishing vids on the net, two weeks ago I was invited to fish off Marin coast. Along the way I noticed quite a few people on kayaks fishing, I've seen a couple of them fight and pull in impressive salmons. I never thought that it was possible to get out that far off the coast with a kayak,  considering the sea conditions. The guys were warriors out there. I was hooked from what I witnessed. I've been soaking up everything I can learn about kayak fishing ever since. I also have been checking out kayaks and gears that people recommend using. From what I've been reading here so far, this group is great and can't wait to get out there and fish from a kayak!

What up Dee. From your look in the pic the (fish) Madness is strong with you. It starts out with shore fishing, then from a boat, then to a kayak. Eventually you will want to spear fish. And when the madness has fully engulfed you.... you will just swim out in the ocean free dive with no equipment and come up with a fish in your mouth. LOL. :smt044 :smt044. Im hooked !!! Welcome Bro.

Thanks Alex, I've done the shores and boats of California, Oregon, San Felipe, Cabo San Lucas, Louisiana, Florida, and Philippines. I also done the inflatable raft. Looks like the kayak is next in line. As soon as I can free up some time from work, its on.  :smt006

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”
