monterey bay salmon and point lobos spot prawns-fresh garden sides

not really a recipe but I wanted to share a picture of this killer dinner with the forum and this section seemed as good as any to post in...
My nephew-back from  his first season in Alaska landed a job with his buddy on a spot prawn boat-the same boat I see everyday off the cliffs out to sea from my job by point lobos/carmel highlands...I called today to see if that orange light I was seeing this morning was their boat-later I got a call saying " would you like a few Prawns we had good day"
I hauled ass down to the wharf from carmel highlands as the Boat docked and the buyer off loaded live Prawns and was gifted a bag of still kicking Spot Prawns by my Nephew and his Captian
I am sure this area  we live in must be paradise-if it aint it's darn close!!
Got home and broke out some fat fresh/frozen salmon steaks from this season and sliced and diced just picked tomatoes and thyme and basil from the garden-some fresh garlic bread and buttered fettuccine .......
Man!!!!!!
Life is GOOD!!!
I could get used to this....I was able to toss a case of fizzy water on their boat and pick up 8 AA batteries for their scale as I drove over...the least I could do 

How come I wasn't invited? Thought we're best friends!!!???

same thing I asked the Prawn boat Captian
I asked :
"what is the first thing people do when they meet you,then they find out you get Prawns fresh everyday?"
He has more friends than anybody in the world I bet
