No, salmon isn't barbless in the river system. Unless you are in a barbless section of river, ie, the American above Arden is barbless.
Howe Avenue is in Sacramento. It's one of the nine public launch spots on the American River.
Google American River Parkway. It will give you the 411.

I've got a few, for salmon Clarus-Curado, Lamiglass-Curado, and G Loomis-Revo.

Favorite is the G-Loomis-Revo

Revo sx? I just bought a clarus from cabelas. They're on sale for $79-89. Just need to pair it up with a reel. Not interested in paying the price for a curado though haha.

Good job on the pike minnow.  One of the few native fish.  I sight fish for them in my kayak in certain places on the American.  I've seen them up to about 42" or so.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Catch one Scott that has to be a record. I don't know what the record is or how to check but last year someone caught a decent size at melones and glory hole was claiming either state or maybe world record.
