Hope the rumor is yours.  I donated my lucid grips too earlier in the day after catching a ling. :(

Yes besides my big skunk all I caught off the bottom was a fishing rod Sunday morning.  It doesn't appear to be the one that Sarge lost, so if you lost a rod PM me with what and where was lost and I will gladly get it back in your hands.

It might be the young man's rod camped next to me as he took a  swim. Can't remember his handle but maybe Juan/Mako might remember as they bare both from Willits.

So, how many took a swim? I heard two and then three. There was also a story of somebody getting a ride/tow back down by Salmon Point/Creek. It was bumpy and big out there at times. I think we had some set waves over 8' on the face.

It got real when trolling and turned south with the following seas. I started to pearl on one, did a Hail Mary backwards arch and came back up. I think I may be too old and well fed for that!

Sorry for the thread jack, Sarge!

Sorry, but I really hate it when people lose rods.
I posted this over 2 years ago.
.50 worth of pool noodle and you'd all still have your rods.

The one I found was pulled up from the bottom.  Not floating.

Got hit by a good size wave Friday. Lost a Ugly stick with a Daiwa real with a line counter. It happened in the south side of the cove. Never got a chance to say thank you to those who helped pull me out of the water. I owe you a beer someday somewhere. At least the water was warm
