How Bout Them Giants LOL!!!

If Dodgers acquire John Lester tomorrow, their starting rotation will be: (even thought they don't really need Lester) KERSHAW, GREINKE, LESTER, BECKETT, RYU,
AND JUST FOR SHITS HAREN!  Yeah we're spending and we don't care!

Have to follow your Dodgers a little closer there pal.  They've come out publicly and stated they won't be taking on any payroll i.e. they won't be adding Lester, Price, Hamels, Lee, or any other big name guys.  Now of course this could all be gamesmanship.

The Dodgers top three though are VERY solid.  Becket has solid numbers but is hurt.  Haren is WAY passed his prime and garbage.  Will be tough to beat in the playoffs if they don't $hit the bed before then.

Jake Peavy? Really?

Yeah, I wasn't a fan either but I didn't make the trade.  That said, if you look at the numbers, he's pitched better than his record indicates.  Prior to the Giants/Dodgers game, he received 2 runs or fewer in his prior 8 starts.  Hard to win games with that kind of run support.  Yeah, he's had a couple crappers, but all in all, the numbers aren't bad.  He certainly won't be carrying us to the promise land, that's for sure!

Like I said they don't really need Lester.  And I know all about the Peavy rationale.  Needless to say strange deals happen.  GREINKE 13 K's tonight.
