Hey...I'm thinking about hittin up RFW in Trinidad.  I need to get some time otw tho.  I paddle out of Trinidad bay at least once a month but my catch rate hasn't been that reliable...that's why they call it fishin not catching, I know!

I'd like to run up to Trinidad more often after work for a quick outing but work til 4:30 everyday.   I'm wondering if any if you that are more experienced find the fish bite is better during a high or lo tide?

Any other pointers are appreciated too :smt004

I caught RF's on both low & high tides.  Strong current probably has more affect to RF's since they're hunker down in the rocks or move out to deeper water.

It seems like they bite best with some current. The bite seems to die when there is no current, but that might be because I'm not drifting over new habitat.
So I'm packing my bags for the Misty Mountains, where the spirits go...........
