New GoPro Mount

Pretty slick...A bit pricey at $70 but I like how simple it is to use.

Why would you want to see yourself shooting?

$70.00 is way too much, there will be a cheap copy in ebay in a couple of weeks.

Looks awesome for spearfishing video but definitely pricey!
Would rather use this for the price though

Although not sure how it would work on rod or rifle for that matter.

You'd be amazed at how you think you're doing something compared to how you are actually doing it.
It's a great tool to eliminate mistakes, bad habits, unnecessary motion that you otherwise didn't know you were making.

... and aside from the constructive purposes, people love seeing selfies of themselves doing anything.

I don't know how it would work for a rifle, but for a fishing rod, I have the seat post/handlebar mount for biking and kt works really well for a rod mount as well. I think it was $30 or so and I can definitely justify that price especially if it serves two purposes.

I was looking at the Phantom 2+ the other day at a hobby shop in Chico.  I still want one.
