Bueller.....

How's this trailer look? I can't see how I could fit two yaks on it, the wheel wells seem to block the majority of the bar? Any downsides I should know about trailering vs bar system besides being stuck doing 55?

Can anyone answer about the bar? If i get the 65" now will it fit the two hobies? And then if I want later I can fit it with 2 hullivators? Trying I move fast want to get out there but don't want to f up and buy the wrong thing.

I could get by with just a 65" bar for a while, as long as it will fit the options later.

This is my EXACT set-up.  No hullivator needed.  I'm a 6'0" white guy with more fat than muscle and I can hoist my Adventure and Outback up with no problem!

I don't know a lot about trailer prices but seems like a decent deal.  Not a screaming deal but reasonable.  Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.

Extra toll fee is all I can think of beyond the 55 speed.

Well I found a somewhat local place to get the control towers and crossbars to hold me over.

Dilbeck, can you see being able to put two outbacks down on the crossbar with anything less than 65"? They only have 58" in stock.

Outback is 34" wide.  X2, I don't think so.  You can always buy them, lay them out on some grass, and lay your yaks on them.

Damn, the hullivator says it accommodates up to 34". Sounds like I'm pushing it just with those.

You might want to look at Jet ski trailers.  There were several when I was looking a few weeks ago.  Most seem to be located in the Sacramento area.  I picked mine up in Auburn.

Glad I went to the shop before getting the rack. Just bought this Infiniti and it may have issues that cost more than its worth to fix. Fck my life.

Can't even describe it. If I tried you would probably just assume alignment or bent frame, and it isn't. Mechanic(yes reputable and trust him) said they've only ever seen this once before, and it was in another Infiniti , and wasn't cheap. I will find out tomorrow exactly when the guy who dealt with it is in.

And there is a separate issue of control arm and bushing as well. ****.

I already had the rack system in hold to pick up after an the mechanic said it wasn't even safe to go there.

Well that sucks.  I suppose that's why you got such a good deal on the car.

I didn't get a good deal. If anything I paid a bit more than blue book.  There are a lot of shisters on Craigslist but I believe these people aren't. Very well off, inherited the car from deceased family and had no new for it. They seemed very honest, and have still been in contact. Sounds like they may even come through to help. They want to be kept up to date, and were adamant on letting them know about any backfees from DMV so they could pay.

At least there is that. If sincere, that's very rare and lucky.

My bad.  Seemed like a good deal but I'll admit that my Infiniti knowledge is nil.

At least the sellers sound like they're stand up people.

if you ever want a second opinion, bring it to Weimarian.  I'd say he'd help you for a six pack of beer, but.....  Maybe if you get him a bicycle helmet.   :smt002
