CCK Oakland comes through

Last week, I had what could easily be categorized as a bad experience at CCK in Oakland.  I won't bother with the details since none of that really matters.  The important thing is; they came through with flying colors and made the situation right.  As a retired retail executive, I have many years of customer service experience and can say that these guys really did what was right for the customer.  CCK Oakland is the perfect example of a retailer knowing how to not only satisfy a customer when a situation turns bad but to turn the potentially negative experience into a very positive one.  I will continue to look to them when I have kayak related needs for products and services.  Kudos to the entire staff at CCK, Jack London Square.

CCK is 10 minutes from my office in Oakland and I always use them for Hobie related items and repairs.   JT is the man with the knowledge to fix my abused Revo and AI. They are abused because I take and drag them everywhere.

They've been a go-to shop for as long as I have have been an active paddler. It was a good place to work for, and remains a top shop of the bay area.
As an old-time employee from the 90's, I'm happy to hear their standards of service are still top notch.

Their positive approach with even potential customers is why my wife and I drove from the Moss Landing area where we live to Oakland to demo and buy two new Revo 13 kayaks and related gear from CCK. We want to give our money to the people who are willing to do what it takes to provide good service as well as products. Both aspects are equally important to us.
