Hello from Bluegrass Bill

Bill Ward is my real name.  As my  handle indicates playing music with my Band Western lights is a passion of mine as is fly fishing, canoeing, kayaking and most all outdoor activities.  I live in Sacramento, am 62, a retired Civil Engineer with a wonderful wife, 3 kids and three grandkids.  I am a very blessed man. 

I have a handfull of pictures to share, My wife and I in our kayaks, we both have "fishing Kayaks" and beautiful wood strip kayaks made by her brother.  A photo of myself with my guitar and my band as well. 

I look forward to getting my kayak out fishing more and look forward to sharing, hopefully meeting and getting to fish with some of you.  Best Always,  "Bluegrass Bill"

Hi Folks,  thanks for the warm welcome.  I look forward to getting my kayak out on the water much more often nw and I think I can count on some encouragement here .  Glad there are some music fans out there as well.  IF yoiu don't mind I have one more music sample more related to what we all enjoy doing fishing.  Have a great day

I will be doing some scouting today checking out Rollins lake near Colfax for some bass fishing   Nice to see this group has music lovers as well as Kayak/fishing fans.  If there were ever any NCKA events that had a opportunity for music to be a part of them that would be a blast!  Here is another recent sample of music played by us in a trio format.  Have a great weekend everybody!
