Tonight I failed my fish finder

For most people their fish finder fails them, not tonight. I should have listened to all the post about using dielectric grease. I always clean my fish finder after every use, ok maybe a few days after. Well tonight I was packing up my gear for the Clear Lake event and one of the pins on the power cable just snapped off. I am hoping Narisa will let me use the fish finder she won at the Yakhopper event . My new goal for this weekend is to do what I need to do to win a new fish finer.

Moral of the story, friends don't let friends not use dielectric grease.

I just hooked it up to the battery and I am amazed. The bad news is Narisa thanked me for getting it ready for her.

Just make sure not to go overboard in putting the dielectric grease. I put a lot on mine one time and noticed my fish finder disconnecting/losing signal

So true....at first I was like well that's a loss. But then I looked online and there are cables available.

Which part failed? Where the cables plug into the FF?
