What a great day! Got otw by 10 I think, with the wife. Met fishcomb and another guy heading in. Got out of the jaw and on our way to meet bones and Smokeonthewater, I marked some school/bait. Dropped sabiki hoping they were anchovies or sardines, but were something else. Won, later said they were most likely white croakers. For their size, they fight like hell.
Finally met up with the guys and we headed towards mavericks. On the way there, we marked massive school. Dropped some shrimp flies down and got hit one after another including a good decent size Verm. I was on my 8th RF already When the wifey got sick. We started heading back in around noon and by the time we reached the harbor, the wind was gusting. Ended up with 8 rf while the wife had 2. Not bad for a half day of fishing

This is the wife using a pair of her Crocs instead of the stringer I gave her. Funny part was watching her trying to get those fish out. She said the fish were jumping too much and she was too sick to reach for the stringer behind her.

Nice haul Herb! I only got a 19" cab and a decent size China; my two crab pots got me only undersize crabs, so no crabs for me today. :smt010 Agoodhi got a pretty nice size ling; I'll have him talk about that :smt003. Before I left bones and smokeinthewater had a couple of nice rockfish.

Met up this morning with Won (Smokeonthewater), Tony (Fishcomb), and Ryan (Agoodhi) for crabbing and fishing. We launched around 7:00am. We dropped our crab pots and then headed to the green buoy. I jigged a Big Hammer and caught a 26" Ling and a 18" Cab. I caught a few more underlings and then the bite turned off for me. While we were out there we met Gary(garyjwebb), who bagged himself a nice Cab.

Ryan caught himself a big ass Ling right before he had to leave. Great way to end an early day, Bro. Right after that, Won hooked up with a 3'-4' shark. Now that was pretty cool.

Around 10:00 Herb and his wife met up with us but wasn't able to stay long. Won and I decided to head back towards our crab pots shortly after. Thank goodness we left when we did because the fan kicked on. I only drooped one pot but I got me 6 keepers.

Nice score on the crabs!  I must have given you the lucky lingcod carcass, LOL.  My first trap pulled up 6 dungies but 5 were short by .25".  Second had 5 rocks kept 2 that were 5"+.
