I don't think it was a leopard shark, it didn't have stripes...just remember that it was gray.  It was pretty awesome to see it swimming around my kayak when I got it up to the surface.  The only pictures/footage is what Bones' gopro captured, I have a strict policy to not take my phone on the water lately.    :smt044

That shark hit a 1.5" b2 squid shrimp fly teaser, then broke off, so I dropped back down thinking it was a ling and he hit the root beer scampi.  I was dangling my feet the whole time because I thought it was a big old ling, then once I realized it was a shark, feet came right back in.   :smt005   Thanks to Bones for the assist on releasing the fish safely.  It was nice fishing with all you guys!

After losing 2 fish, one jumped and shook the hook at the surface, I landed this cabbie. These fish sure put on a good fight for their size.

Fought this guy for what seemed forever. Definitely thought it was a hali, since someone pulled one out of here not too long ago. It also felt like I was bringing up a cinder block. This guy ran at least 3x and holed up a couple times that I thought I was snagged. Guys were taking bets on what I had on the other end. I heard shark, seal, monster ling, butt., etc. Turned out to be a 16lb ling, at least that's what the fish grip said. Little Lexa reel brought it in when the ling tired out.
