The Nimbus Fish Hatchery waters from Folsom Dam got too warm, so the steelheads were released ahead of schedule.

I wonder if the early release has any affect of the fish's internal calendar? Will they now return early?

No. They don't return on their birthdays, the return is based on time of year, currents, temp etc.
