Has anybody had their Kokatat drysuit gaskets replaced recently?  I thought I remembered hearing it was around fifty bucks to get them replaced.  However I contacted Kokatat and California Canoe and Kayak in Oakland and they both quoted around $125.00.  California Canoe and Kayak gets their gaskets from Kokatat, so it's basically the same thing but the shipping cost can be avoided and the turn-around time is much quicker.  Has anybody had CCK work on their suit?  The turn-around is 2 days vs 2 weeks from Kokatat.

Martin -

Give them a call and let them know what your turnaround is. Great customer service. Have them tank test it too. I have a FJ/Dry Top you can use in the interum.

Thanks Scott.  I have a dry top and pants I can use if needed.  Kokatat actually recommended getting it done at CCK.  Their turn-around is only a couple of days.  Next time I'm headed anywhere near Oakland, I think I'll drop it off.

Do you need to replace the neck gasket or wrists or both?  If for both then the price is about right.

I just had mine done. One wrist replaced and could of had the neck done. $35.50 for replacing wrist and if I chose to have the neck ring add $67.50 plus $20.00 to pressure check the suit. Talk to Trask Ballard at Kokastat Water Sport. 800-225-9749 Ext. 233.

I will be at my Oakland office on Tuesday and can drop it off at CCK after work. Just drop it by my house with a note.

Thanks Scott.   I need to go to San Leandro on Wednesday and can stop by CCK before I head back home.  Thanks for the offer.
