Just thought I'd throw up a picture of the stand I just built for the Ride.  Now it's out of the family room... Finally!

 :smt006, rev, over in Modesto, did you ever try a different seat? I have the same model yak, with high seat. I did demo same unit w/ low seat in lake berressa, it did seem to move quicker. Had mine at PIF event in bay w/ high seat (calm water) still, felt safe in this rig.

Hi Rev;

I did try the lower seat on the demo/rental R135 that Sunrise has at Lake Del Valle with a 230cm paddle and it seemed pretty stable and quick.  I think I will give it some time to feel comfortable with the high seat before I order the lower seat.  I do hear that Wilderness Systems is coming out with a "lawn chair" style seat that will convert from low to high.  Maybe that's worth waiting for?

Paddle Safe!
