newbie to the bay looking for hali

I have targeted halis in SD bay and have hade some success.  I want to target hali in SF bay.  Any tips? Launch sites, rigging, bait, locations?  Do you guys cast net/sabiki/bait barge for bait in the bay? where do you find bait?  Any help would be very appreciated. 

Never mind.  Just saw a real helpful post added a few days ago. 

Good spots in the Bay include the Alameda Rockwall (ARW), Paradise Cove, and the Berkeley Flats (area around the Berkeley Pier).

Outside the Bay, any sandy area near rocks/reef with a depth between 10 and 60+ feet will hold halibut at one time or another.
