I have more PFD's and fishing vests than I like to think about but saw an ad for the Stohlquist Fisherman PFD that looked good for both kayak and surf fishing.

I have that vest in green. I love the storage it has in it. I didnt buy the yellow one because over time the yellow will start turning into poop brown :smt044

I have that one too and like it. My dark green one is faded and now looks like baby poop too!

Love mine. The hard storage pockets double as little tables when maxed out. Perfect for barbless spoons and spinners on the American. I use it when wading as well. overall great buy. Does anyone paddle with it? Used it on my pa14, but now that I've got a Jackson cuda, it does seem a tad bulky when practicing in my garage (haven't had the chance to get it otw yet)

Yellow and Blue will stand up to UV the longest without fading. It is red and brown and black that absorb the most UV and get damaged the fastest. Check out the sail covers on boats at a marina and it becomes obvious which colors hold up well. Even with plastic boats it is the red ones that are the most faded. Or take a look at 7-Eleven signs and notice how often the red section has faded badly but the bright green is still OK. An it is a true green and not an olive color which has a lot of brown in it.
