Hey Saw,

I'm also new to the kayak fishing scene. I live in cottonwood and I'm planning on getting the yak out as often as possible.

WTTM Saw, would love to hook up with you and play on the river. Not as easy to hold a kayak in position as a drift boat IMO but more fun for sure.

Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Thanks All!

@InService, it's great to see all the locals on this forum

@fisheducator, sounds good!  I'm sure I'll be clumsy at first especially when the flows go up ;)  I'll post in the hookups next time I get a chance to go out

Retired on May 31, moved to Cottonwood last week, wife is already telling me to go fishing even though I haven't put the garage together yet.  Looking forward to fishing with everyone up this way.

Did talk to Jeff at Headwaters, believe they are planning something on 21st up at Lake McCumber, I plan on going.

Congrats on the retirement....lucky dog!

My wife tells me to go fishing all the time too.  Sounds like we both married good ones!

I'm off work the 21st so I'll have to look into going to McCumber

Thanks!  North Valley Slayers.....I like it

I'm still getting the Predator set up so it's fishable but not quite finished.  I heard you won yours.  That's awesome!

BTW, I'm signed up for Rockfish Wars and can't wait

North Valley Slayers.... Nice ring to it.

I pick up my Cuda 12 next week and I have some vacation at the end of the month. Looking forward to getting it on the water.
